Understanding Spots and Stains
It is important to understand the difference between a spot and a stain.
A spot is a surface spill or mark that can typically be removed through professional cleaning methods.
A stain is discoloration that has permanently altered the fibers or material. In simple terms, stain means stay. Some stains cannot be removed without causing damage to carpet, rug, or upholstery fibers.
All determinations regarding whether a condition is a removable spot or a permanent stain are made by our technicians during service evaluation.
30 Day Spot Return Guarantee
If we successfully remove a removable spot during your cleaning appointment, we guarantee that the same treated spot will not return within thirty days from the date of service.
If the identical treated spot reappears within thirty days, you must contact us within that time period. After verification, we will return to professionally treat the affected area at no additional charge.
This guarantee applies only to spots that were identified as removable and treated during the original appointment. It does not apply to permanent stains or new spills that occur after service.
SafeGuard Stain Shield Protection
We offer an optional protective treatment known as SafeGuard Stain Shield. This protection helps resist spills, soil, and staining by creating a protective barrier on carpet fibers.
This treatment is designed to provide additional time to properly blot and manage accidental spills before they absorb into the material.
3 Month Stain Protection Assurance
Customers who purchase SafeGuard Stain Shield receive protection coverage for three months from the date of application.
If a spill occurs during the protection period and you are unable to remove it using proper care methods, we will return to professionally treat the affected area.
If, after treatment, the stain cannot be removed, we will refund the cost of the SafeGuard Stain Shield application for that specific area.
This protection does not cover bleach damage, dye transfer, burns, physical fiber damage, pre existing conditions, or improper cleaning attempts using harsh chemicals.
Limitations of Liability
Mark It Clean is not responsible for permanent staining, pre existing damage, material deterioration, or fiber conditions that existed prior to service.
All services are performed using industry standard cleaning methods. Results may vary depending on material type, age, condition, and prior treatment history.
